“Cycle of Celebration” This Christmas tree imagines how festive symbols may evolve 50 years into the future, where design is guided by sustainability, innovation, and responsible thinking. The form is inspired by the geometry of bicycle wheels, using circular frames and radial lines to reinterpret the traditional Christmas tree in a contemporary way. The wheel-inspired circles symbolize movement, progress, and interconnected systems, reflecting how future societies may prioritize efficiency, shared values, and conscious lifestyles. Rather than directly copying objects, the design abstracts the wheel form, showing a shift toward concept-driven future design. A central vertical structure functions as the trunk, expressing structural efficiency and modular construction. The stacked circular elements reduce in size to create the familiar triangular silhouette, demonstrating how tradition can evolve through reinterpretation. Red, green, and white accents preserve the emotional identity of Christmas, while the open, lightweight structure suggests adaptability and balance. This tree represents a future where celebration blends innovation, responsibility, and timeless festive spirit.
